The newest member of our team has exciting stories to tell, the movie “The Intouchables” is for him related to an unforgettable experience – and he loves to sail. Meet Andreas and his adventures.
Who grows up in Neuruppin has to be connected to the water and literature. Between stunning nature and lots of lakes and canals Andreas had learnt how to sail. He wouldn’t love Effi Briest (famous book by the local author Theodor Fontane) but read the The Leatherstocking Tales enthusiastically. He was always in the woods with his labrador Cooper, of course an “The Last of the Mohicans” inspired name, until the serious side of life began. He says, “I’m rooted in the area”.
Because of this he wasn’t drawn far away to study Business administration. He moved to Potsdam, kept in touch with the lakes and “enjoyed one of the most beautiful cities in Germany”. Then there was the “Intouchables” thing – he went to London for a year to do voluntary welfare, so Andreas worked for Antony, a BBC graphic designer who is paralyzed. This year also included a season ticket for Tottenham and weekly cinema visits with Antony. A great time, as you can guess.
His master in business administration Andreas did in another especially pretty city – Rostock – here he gained his sailing licence. After that he was host for tourists between Rostock and Berlin to make a dream come true – New Zealand! Masses of amazing memories to tell, for example an unexpected possibility to sail on an oldstyle ship, he immediate came to our office for Sales and Business Development – tanned and with a bright smile. And back at the lakeside in Weissensee.
ZG-0450 is Andreas favourite card. Because what more do you need but a good mood, the water and a warm Moin,Moin?
